Sneaking in the glass window,
I didn’t see
You watching the city in the noon,
I didn’t see
Your shining bright beauty,
I didn’t see
You are searching for someone,
I didn’t see

In the evening breeze,
Your presence not found
The house shrouded in darkness,
Silence all around
Then in the gloom,
Your voice softly stirred
I recognized it instantly,
My heart reassured

Switching on the lights,
your form did reveal
A small joy ignited,
a moment so surreal
Though I could gaze,
upon you straight
but it is not fair,
so I retreated with care.

Heading home,
feels just right
Okay, I’ll go back,
out of sight
Another day with my,

Feels so nice,
a joy to extend
